I hired Debbie to be our practice consultant a few months after I purchased the practice. I knew that our hygiene department was not profitable. When we began the hygiene department training, our adult patients treated for periodontal disease were only 11% and very quickly after we began working with Debbie, no more than 8 weeks later, our adults treated for periodontal disease went up to 24% of the adult patients.
We now have a specific system for all 3 of our hygienists to follow so everyone treats our patients the same way and says the same thing. The hygienists have learned to set up the treatment plan before the doctor has completed a patient exam which adds a lot of value and saves time for not only patients sitting in the chair but they already understand why they need treatment and exactly what treatment is necessary before doctor begins the patient exam.
After our training with Debbie was completed our total practice production is up by 17% since one year ago. We are very grateful for her services. Our patients receive a much higher level of care so it is a win-win!
